The Prints

The negatives of the photos that make up the Collection were packed away for over 50 years in Jack's private archives. Not surprisingly a degree of deterioration occurred over the years and it was therefore necessary to use state of the art Apple Mac technology to remedy this deterioration. Each image was painstakingly brought back to life using the best digital software available. This allowed blemishes and scratches to be removed without altering in any way the quality and content of the photographs.

The result is breathtaking. The pores in the skin and the light facial hair are all visible on these prints - the smaller of the two mounted prints still being an average of over a meter in height, allowing to see the most extraordinary detail.

Each picture is printed on 310gsm Hahnemuhle 100 year archival photographic Watercolor German Etching Paper and taken from the original restored negative.
The pictures are signed by Jack and come with a Certificate of Authenticity plus a photograph of Jack signing your picture. The pictures arrive mounted ready for framing.
